Project Overview
The Prison Complex is located about 11km from Limbang town and 32km from the Sarawak/Brunei border. A land area of 44 acres has been allocated for this complex to cater for 399 inmates.
Based on the overall design concept, the complex will be in 2 sectors one housing the Prison Complex and the other catering for the Staff Quarters Complex. The Prison Complex comprises of 15 blocks with the floor area of 11,600 square metres. The Staff Quarters Complex is made up of support buildings with a total area of 2700 square metres and 100 units of accommodation.
Limbang Prison Complex is designated medium level security. The security system comprises of 2 layer perimeter fence, detection systems and CCTV systems
HAPM was appointed to provide Integrated Project Management Services.
We were involved right from Client Brief Development stage , concentrating on defining the detailed User’s Requirements especially the security aspects through to Design Development, Detailed Budget Development and Detail Planning.
We carried through our roles from the planning stage into the construction phase , managing the construction , testing & commissioning and the handing over process, Our responsibilities are to ensure the Client’s Time , Cost and Quality objectives are being adhered to.
