University Industry Selangor or “UNISEL” is the first university to be undertaken by a State Government in Malaysia. The Selangor State Government, recognizing the fact that Selangor is the industrial centre of Malaysia, envisages that UNISEL to be the catalyst in promoting a synergistic co-operation between the academic and industrial sectors to further strengthen Selangor’s position as the nation’s industrial centre.
Located within the 14,000 acres “ Taman Pendidikan Negeri Selangor”, UNISEL development will take up 1026 acres with the Main Campus occupying around 562 acres. UNISEL will, by 2010, be nurturing around 10,000 students in various disciplines.
The University buildings provide overall internal space of 132,000 sq. metres in a wide variety of architectural styles. A park-like setting is created, conducive to the development of creative thinking. Buildings are designed to harmonise and integrate with the existing landscape.
The components of the University include
▪ Infrastructure facilities including the Chancellery, six faculty buildings , 6 R&D institutions and hostels
▪ Extensive IT network
▪ Extensive use of existing landscape including building the floating Mosque over the existing lake
▪ Extensive R&D network & infrastructure
The University’s six faculties are Built Environment, Engineering, Industrial Management, Information Technology, Industrial Science and Industrial Education

We were involved right from Client Brief Development stage , helping to define the exact and detailed User’s Requirements through to Design Development, Detailed Budget Development and Detail Planning .
We carried through our roles managing the construction phase , testing & commissioning and handing over process, all the time to ensure the Client’s Time , Cost and Quality objectives are being adhered to.
